Scandtap Steel Equip D Shadow – black kitchen mixer

The Scandtap Steel Equip D Shadow is a black, modern, slim-profile kitchen mixer where rounded forms and soft lines meet a clean, minimalist design. Its timeless appearance suits a wide variety of kitchens and complements both contemporary and more classic interiors.

The mixer is manufactured from durable stainless steel and finished using the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating process. It is equipped with a Neoperl nozzle that adds air to the water flow, reduces splashing, and enhances everyday comfort. A dishwasher shut-off valve is included as standard, making the mixer practical for daily use.

Installation

The recommended position of the tap hole in the worktop is 80 mm from the wall or splashback to the centre of the hole.

If the distance to the wall is shorter, a short bar is available as an accessory (TAP-H32003 Scandtap Steel Short bar Shadow), allowing installation with a minimum recommended distance of 42 mm.

Care & Maintenance

Regular treatment with a stainless steel care product is recommended to help prevent fingerprints, limescale, grease, and other impurities from adhering to the surface. Repeat approximately every three months (recommended brand: Würth).

Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or materials.

In areas with hard water, regular cleaning of the aerator is recommended. Remove the aerator and soak it in warm water with approximately ¼ household vinegar (max. 12%) for 10 minutes to 2 hours depending on the level of limescale. Rinse thoroughly and refit.
